AJIKO Studios

Composing frontends. Tending them for years. I build product frontends in React and TypeScript, for teams I stick around with. Not an agency. Not a contractor. A long-tenured engineer, embedded with your team.

Now

Mindful that frontend rewards staying. The cleanup nobody saw. The types someone three years from now won't have to fight. Most of what I'm proud of is unglamorous.

Working mostly in design systems: making the same component obvious across two thousand JSX files, and the strange problems only the frontend solves. Small wins. They add up.

Sharing the desk with two cats who gave the studio its name, Jiji and Kiko. They run the place. Mostly silence, sometimes sarangi classics or Anoushka Shankar. Trying to come back to drawing this year; @dashmeetart, if I keep my promise.
